Get Satisfaction went through a major rebranding and recruited me to help update/reinvent their brand presence and introduce a new marketing initiative for their rapidly growing social media product.
I worked on all visual marketing efforts including media kit, banner ads, event signage, emailers, stickers, shirts, case studies, product integration comps, infographics, marketing website, photo shoots, and generally anything that needed to be designed.

A travel blog I created to document an eight month journey through Southeast Asia.
Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Borneo, Brunei, and South Korea — I visited all, posting writings and photographs along the way. About half way through the journey, Lonely Planet selected the site for its Blog Sherpa Beta program, which features content from Hi and Thank You in context on LonelyPlanet.com.
Maintaining a visual appeal, the site streams personal photography from the hi and thank you flickr pool. Content creation and moderation partnered with some SEO strategy made the site a success.

As a freelance creative strategist, I established the branding, both strategically and visually, of the interactive arm of Global Advertising Strategies. Starting with the name, the Interactive Director and I created the company from the ground up, determining the look and feel, and the creative structure and processes.
As the international agency extended its offering to provide in-house digital services, I developed digital strategies for existing clients and the presentations through which the ideas where pitched.

Using recycled keyboards,
Little Keys allows toddlers and little kids to bang away on brightly colored keys to create playful patterns of letters, numbers, and shapes. Kids can–and should–go wild on the keyboards, custom painted with non-toxic, kid-safe paint.
Young kids love to imitate their parents. Which can be really cute, but not when a toddler sits on your lap seemingly determined to bang on your laptop keyboard until your hard drive is erased. It was this observation that lead myself and a small crew of fellow web-obsessed digital agency folks to create Little Keys, a local art project-cum-computer game created for wee ones.
The group of us sold the limited edition computer program-keyboard pairing at flea markets around NYC. The reactions from kids and parents alike was astounding! Lots of curious little hands and big smiles made the project a success and we sold out in no time.

To depict and demonstrate the movement of performance art visually. Performance art relies heavily on the audience, so I created rings that demonstrate the visceral movement of Performance Art. Starting in the artist, artistic expression moves out of the mind and body of the artist in a chosen form of sensory. It then becomes a concept that will be absorbed by the audience. I am able to show movement comparable to the actual movement of a performance art piece from artist to audience. The dissection of the word also yields many thoughts:
PER – (for each; for every) Performance art is for all, and we all do it so some degree.
FOR – It can be read “for man”, “for-ce, or “for art.” All the readings emphasize the introspection of man, as a flawed, raw character just trying to understand the world around them, and share what they have gathered along the way.
MAN is written across the chest signifying perhaps the most important and most forgotten aspect of art. Understanding the limitations, the collective reasonings, and the “cycle” man resides in.
CE – Common Era, this represents the time we live in, and can commonly be associated with the now. Much of Performance Art takes place one single time. The performer believes the art is created by a combination of the performer and the environment which can never replicated thus never seen the same way.
ART – A creative sensation buried deep inside. This is what art is to the artist. The primal urge to create is comparable to the primitive and seducing sensation of the loins. It is this place that drives our hunger as it is the same place we are able to create.
Other symbolism – This particular piece was by Chris Burden,”Transfixed.” He is literally crucified on the hood of a VW bug, thus having “man” on his chest and CE evokes Christianity and the death of Christ leading into the Common Era. mance can be read (though the correct spelling is “manse”) which means the house of a minister, or landlord. In performance art, the body exists as a “house” of creativity that opens doors to the mind and soul in the same light as religion. Art and religion embody concepts that exist outside space and time to help us make sense of things inside space and time.
A wedding ring is symbolic of a bond between two people, and thus it is used here to symbolize the audience’s bond with the performer.

Dreams are a whimsical mix of thoughts, daily influences, and analysis. Sometimes they don’t mean anything, and yet other times, with a little thought, we discover a lot about ourselves. REMtweet is an experiment into our digital lives. A nonsensical nightly recap of our digital lives. Share your digital influences, and we’ll tweet what might have shaped your digital dreams that night.

Before leaving SFO, we picked up our friend Phil, who flew in from Salt Lake City — the four of us will be camping and exploring various places down Highway 1 this week. Before we settle down and get jobs Nate and I will be doing a bit of adventuring in the states, so stay tuned to the blog for a bit of Americana travel writing and photos.
