A personal art project and social commentary on the amount of personal information shared on social networks. When a mass of people share memories, in this case Facebook photo albums, the images begin to lose their meaning because of the sheer volume of information being presented. I feel like I’ve reached a saturation point and what is intimate to my friends now has little to no meaning to me anymore.
The impact of the piece was exaggerated when printed 36 x 214 inches and displayed in a Brooklyn gallery.
